Furniture Built to Outlast the House

Mark Borman designs and builds every piece himself — real mortise & tenon joinery, solid hardwood, sized exactly for your space. Not a warehouse. Not a catalog. One craftsman, one shop.

What We Build

Three ways to work with Mark

Whether you need a one-of-a-kind piece of furniture, want to learn the craft yourself, or are looking for a handmade gift — it all starts with a conversation.

Custom Furniture

Beds, tables, desks, armoires, chests of drawers — designed for your dimensions and built with joinery that lasts generations. No two pieces are alike.

Woodworking Classes

Small hands-on classes where you leave with a real finished project. Mark teaches the fundamentals that most hobbyists never learn — proper joinery, grain selection, surface prep.

Kitchen Utensils

End-grain cutting boards, wooden spoons, serving platters. Practical heirlooms shaped from the same solid wood that goes into the furniture — and ready much sooner.

The Process

Simple as a conversation

No showroom visits required. No guessing at dimensions. Just tell Mark what you need.

01

Tell Mark about your piece

Fill out the consultation form or call directly. Describe the size, the wood you have in mind, or just the problem you're trying to solve. Mark listens first.

02

Get a real quote

No vague estimates. Mark will come back with a firm number and timeline before any work begins. If the price doesn't work, he'll say so honestly.

03

Watch it get built

Once you approve the quote and leave a deposit, Mark gets to work. Most pieces ship in 4–8 weeks. You can follow along if you want — he loves showing progress.

What clients say

Our table seats ten and has survived two Thanksgiving dinners and a six-year-old with permanent markers. Solid as the day it arrived.

I wanted a desk that matched my grandmother’s armoire. Mark looked at one photo and got the tone exactly right. I cried when it showed up.
